Game Thread: Seattle @ Miami (10 AM PST)

Well... we're pretty beat up on defense but HOPEFULLY this game will not result in additional injuries. The Dolphins are not that good but they can put up points against terrible defenses... and Seattle has allowed nearly 500 yards on average over the season.

I think Seattle will win, but I wouldn't be shocked if I'm pounding down more blood pressure meds like Skittles again and watching Miami hang 400+ yards on us because Ken Norton feels the need to drop everyone deep with zero fucking pass rush.

Insane after 3 weeks he should have 15 touchdowns if Metcalf wasn't a dumbass. I know the Falcons and Cowboys have terrible secondaries, but the Pats secondary is fairly good.

And speaking of the Pats, Cam has COVID. Hopefully he didn't give it to anyone on the Seahawks.

Both Carson and Hyde are listed as questionable and Carroll says that Carson will be a game time decision. I think Homer is going to get a lot bigger work load tomorrow than he usually does.

Homer was doing pretty decent last year until the injury and seems to be okay this year. I have made some comments before regarding: "Why the fuck are we using Homer!" only when Carson was available, but I'll be curious to see how he does this game if he's the starter.

Course with Wilson on an absolute terror and Miami being one of the worst run defenses in the league I don't think it'll really matter who the fuck the runningback is.

I think Homer would be a good screenpass back, he is a little quicker than the other guys but he also doesn't have the vision or power of them. Then we got Dallas but he was Homers back-up in college so that's all you need to really know.

Not good that Dunbar is out....I think Miami is missing a couple DBs now as well but not sure if they were starters. Carson is "expected to start" according to what I saw on NFLN a little while ago. Injuries are making a mess of the early season across the league. Hopefully players are in better game shape in the back half and this settles down a bit. Not an injury but it really sucks that Cam Newton is out with covid. He's a d-bag and all, but I want the best players out there.

We should be ok as long as the key players of the passing offense are intact. And even if our D gets beat for some big passing plays, keeping the run game bottled up like they have been should be good enough to maintain control of the game. I hope the crappy south FL weather doesn't impact the game -- I saw low 90s (and humid no doubt) with a 50% chance of thunderstorms.
