Lmao, no. If Kaep were an option I would've started him against the worst defense in history. Matt Ryan against NOLA was my other option.
:suds: just giving you a bit a grief. Who knows maybe Wilson ends up making you champ and your a believer for life.

You didn't read all of my post, ending in IMO?

Yeah, I read it all. Just pointing out that your opinion is consistent with the odds that the bookmakers posted before the game tonight even kicked off. Doubt that game moved the odds too much more in favor of Seattle. After all, there are still fifteen more games in Week 1.

No one is crowning anyone this week. They are talking about favorites. It goes without saying injuries can happen and other things come along to derail favorites all the time (PED busts for one). Don't worry, no one is saying it's not possible for your team to still fight for the title.

We are 1-0 this week, I don't want to clamor about sb repeats until we get there.

What a thrashing. Hat's off to the Hawks. They certainly look like THE team to beat.

All I heard about before this game was how much better the Packers defense was. I think I even read "best defensive back unit in football".

Now I guess they are "suspect" and "questionable".

Ok.

1 game

What superbowl winner hasn't looked like a serious repeat contender after the opening game? Can't remember the last time the superbowl winner was defeated in their home opener

Last year, Baltimore @ Denver
And the year before that, Giants vs Dallas

The seahawks looked very good. I think they may be better than last year. It will be interesting to see if any team can match the toughness that they have.

The packers looked much like the packers of the past few years. Their defense does not look much better than past years and injuries could hamstring the team early.

This right here is about my thoughts on the game yesterday. Seattle especially on the offensive side of the ball looks pretty darn deadly with a very diverse set of weapons. Wilson looks about as comfortable as ever playing quarterback. As of right now they are the team to beat. Obviously injuries and tough breaks can change that from week to week. Good first win for them on their title defense.

The Packers are a good team. The Seahawks are a good team that are very difficult to beat at home.

This result wasn't surprising to me at all. Now it is time to see how the other teams.

No doubt that after the first two-hundred and fifty-sixth of the regular season is in the books Seattle looks like THE team to beat!

It's not like the Seahawks came out of nowhere last night. They are the defending Super Bowl champions who had the best record in football last year. And they just beat a Super Bowl hopeful by 20.

Until proven otherwise they are the de facto team to beat.
