Seattle looking like a serious Superbowl repeat contender

Is Seattle still playing at a higher level than any team in the league and the team to beat? LOL Week 1 led to Week 2. Still quite a bit of the season to play out.

Seattle looked awful today and I give credit to the Chargers too. They played a great game and had their way with Seattle's defense all day long.

As for Denver I'd be concerned about how they are playing in second halves of games so far.

I am concerned about how Denver is playing. Then again, I didn't make a thread on the general board about how invincible they looked -- after one home game.

Good point. It was precisely the myopic view of the OP and the support it drew from other Seattle fans that I found laughable. I mean, anyone who thinks that by watching the first game of an NFL season he has learned much about which team "looks like strong contenders" to wind up champs will never be accused of taking the long view.

I don't think it was "out of line", but certainly a myopic, homer thread, the likes of which I'd expect more on the Seattle board than the general board.
