People who keep pointing to Seattle's last 13-9 win should realize that, in the 2 games prior and two games after the Seattle game, Carolina gave up 37, 38, 28, and 45 points. Clearly their D was in shambles then, but still managed to generally shut down Seattle. Their D is clearly playing better. This is why I generally think Seattle's O is overrated, they get carried by their D which cause other teams defenses to eventually break down due to the pressure.

Now I think Seattle wins because I don't see Carolina scoring more than one offensive TD. But, if Carolina can get a turnover or two on D or ST that leads to scores, they may pull a 17-16 type upset.

Because they can win a game in the playoffs and be a difficult out in the divisional round.

Do me a favor. Find me where I said they're a contender. If you don't have any evidence do the world a favor and shut the fuck up.

Crazy to see a spread above 10 and an over/under around 40. Regardless I'm thinking this is a one possession game in the 4th. Like pointed out earlier Seattle is more of a 2nd half team.

Cams legs don't scare me as it isn't something that hasn't been seem before. The guys on offense that peek my attention are Stewart and Olsen. However the matchup that worries me is Charles Johnson going against rookie RT Justin Britt on pass plays. If Seattle doesn't turn it over they should be fine

I don't see Carolina's D-line being as good as STLs and we did OK against them.

Seattle's oline was terrible against the Rams. The Rams offense is just really, really bad and Seattle's defense was really, really good. The Rams also didnt score a TD against Arizona.

Anyone who is using the Panthers defensive performance against AZ as a barometer of how good they are is delusional. Ryan Lindley is really that bad. Combine that with losing our top RB to injury and you have an offensive train-wreck. The Panthers will lose this have by at least 14.

I don't think anyone brought that up in here. Defense been improved since after Philadelphia put up 45 which was when rivera made several changes

All of which are wrong if you actually know anything about the Seahawks

Couple of things about this game at least to me. Carolina has one of the few front 7's that I think can really limit Seattle's run game. Kuechley is one of the few linebackers that is smart enough to really figure out what Seattle is doing and athletic enough to actually do something to stop it or at least limit it.

The next part of the equation is Carolina has nothing to lose in this one. They can go all out knowing there is a good chance there is no tomorrow. They showed in the Wild Card round that while they didn't do much of it during the regular season that they are willing to do the read-option with Cam and Stewart. That to me can be a decent offense that can throw off an aggressive defense like that of Seattle.

Having said all that I still think Seattle wins this one but i have a very low scoring close game of 17-13 is my guess at the moment.
