We got him fired.
Kinda still think the Chiefs should get most of the creditWe got him fired.
While I suspect many Bills fans will celebrate this move, I'm not sure it was a good one for Buffalo. McDermott has the 2nd best winning record behind Marv Levy. Not sure what coach is out there that will be better. Many Buffalo fans will also blame the Broncos and the refs. They're still whining loudly about the interception and PI calls.

And rightfully so. Officiating was definitely a huge factor in helping the Broncs. They're still whining loudly about the interception and PI calls.
No. Poor officiating got him fired. We got him fired.
Poor officiating is what contributed to the Nix injury. They call the hold while Allen is in the end zone, a very obvious hold, and the game is over on the resulting safety. And rightfully so. Officiating was definitely a huge factor in helping the Broncs.
Bills turning the ball over was huge(r).And rightfully so. Officiating was definitely a huge factor in helping the Broncs.
You think I'm going to take the word of a guy who is Bronco/Red Sox fan? What kinda bullshit combo is that?Bills turning the ball over was huge(r).
8-8 in the playoffsWhile I suspect many Bills fans will celebrate this move, I'm not sure it was a good one for Buffalo. McDermott has the 2nd best winning record behind Marv Levy. Wouldn't it be incredible if we lose VJ and then replace him with McDermott? I think he would be great here in Denver. Those Carolina defenses were cooking with him at the helm. Had top-10 units for 4 straight seasons.
About as short sighted a take as there can be.No. Poor officiating got him fired.
Manning and Brady made their own elite receivers many years.I get it. I understand. But I don't think McDermott was the problem. I see two problems:
1. No elite receivers. They have several good receivers, but not that go-to guy when you absolutely have to have yardage for a first down or TD. I blame this on the OC/GM/ownership group for not doing a better job of distributing payroll.
2. Josh Allen. He's one of my favorite non-Seahawk players in the NFL and he is a great regular-season QB. But he makes poor decisions in the playoffs, and at his age, he's probably not going to change.
Poor officiating caused 2 interceptions, 3 fumbles by Buffalo on the road.No. Poor officiating got him fired.
