WR Jermaine Kearse, who signed with the Lions, was carted off after 5 plays. Has suffered a broken leg and also associated injuries to his ankle, source said. In what was supposed to be a bounce-back year, it’s a brutal injury instead.

Some stuff to look at this preseason game. I hope Metcalf gets plenty of reps and I want to see what Green can do. We drafted Green in the 3rd in 2018 and a lot of people had him pegged as a late 1st/2nd round prospect if he went back to school for another year and continued development, so I'd really like to see him improve and excel this year.

We also have a lot of young guys in the secondary, so will be nice to see them get some reps. Was looking forward to watching Collier but ankle/foot issue...

No reason. Most of the elite QBs aren't playing any series at this point... and Paxton + Geno Smith are competing for the backup so we need to see lots of footage there.

Not a bad series... Nice to see Metcalf getting some good passes that aren't deep throws. Geno Smith bit of a bad throw, ticky tack block in the back or we get 3 against ALL of Denver's starters (where we have a bunch out - no Wilson, Brown, Carson, Lockett, Iupati/Fluker).

Our OL looked pretty good... granted Denver isn't going to do a TON of blitzing or scheming for a preseason game, but I'll take it.

Sadly, this one was ugly. They had the doctors on the field to apply the air cast and wouldn't let him move. They had six guys pick him up in the sitting position to place him on the cart.

This one could be a career ender.

I can't tell you how bad this looked on my new 5' x 8' screen.

Whoever was subbing in at LT (I think it might've been Jamarco Jones?) looked bad. Ifedi has looked awful as expected. Interior looked good to me. Geno Smith looks like a giraffe on ice skates though.
