Yep. He's cut.

Jordan Simmons was a bit of a surprise to me, but I haven't crunched the numbers on the OL so maybe it was a foregone conclusion?

I heard it was a possibility. He was considered a bubble player. Too bad, at one time he looked like he had a spot as a possible starter.

Well, all of the cuts today could end up on the practice squad. 16 spots now. 10 spots for max of 2 years of accrued experience plus 6 spots for players with more experience (the pay scale is different).

Simmons or the others could be stashed there if they clear the league waivers.

Nice thing about John Reid is it was a conditional 7th round pick we sent to the Texans... So basically, if Reid doesn’t play in 6 regular season games, the Seahawks don’t lose that pick... If he does get signed on the practice squad and comes up to play 6 games, then it the pick will have been worth it...
