Super Bowl champs! What's that worth to you?

Sounds great!!!

What about being, saying for argument sakes, 5-11 5 years down the line?

Im just saying we need to keep picks so we don't turn to crap when the run is over.

Well it's water under the bridge now so no sense in debating it.

We wouldn't have a draft pick until the 4th round next year.

Have to be very confident he is that sort of difference maker.

One trade musing over at nfl.com is Carlos Dunlap to us. He's 31 and typically an 8 or 9 sack type guy, probably wouldn't cost much. Not that we couldn't or wouldn't do both moves, but something like that makes a lot more sense to me than signing AB.

Per Shefter, AB is going to be a Buc.

not at all worried about missing out on AB, we got Gordon coming soon i would expect. i was very bummed about the lack of effort on DE David Irving! He would have helped our passrush. I have no doubts it would have improved with him even in a support/rotational role.

I'm just glad AB went elsewhere. I don't want him infecting the team. On the downside, he could become an important player for the Bucs which possibly could hurt us in the playoffs.

I think AB will be injured before the Playoffs because of lack of training lack of contact the past few years. He is what? 32 years old? and has really not done much football in over a year.

This was a frustrating weekend its one thing to lose to a divisional rival coming off a bye week and our two other divisional teams in the Rams and 49ers both won in good fashion isn't good. Its great that our non divisional games aren't too bad but we need to gear up for 7 very important divisional games and they are very focused and confident in playing us. I was hoping that after the 49ers lost to the Dolphins and Eagles they would just go away but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Typical NFC West 2 years ago the Rams looked monstrous and went to the super bowl, then last year the 49ers were very good and now this year the Cardinals are balling.

The Cardinals weren't balling on Sunday. They were extremely fortunate to win that game.

The Rams have been the most consistently good team. But I think each divisional game is going to be really tough for all 4 teams.

So Everson Griffen is available.

The Seahawks HAVE to do something. The pass rush is even worse than my pessimistic fears thought it would be. Truth be told they need 2 players.

Mayowa is just a primary pass rusher. He's a situational pass rusher who can come in and get sacks on 3rd and longs.

Sadly they have to make the trade. It would have been easier to have signed the guy in the first place.

Yup. Apparently they were in the mix to sign him but he chose the Cowboys.

Well the Lions got him for a 6th round pick

Seattle could obtain Aaron Donald, JJ Watt, and Myles Garret for a 7th overall pick and $10.00 cap charge, and Norton would still find a way to allow 400+ yards and 30+ points.
