Yep i said No to making the playoffs. I think the defense is going to struggle to much on the back end as these young players grow. They will be a much better team at the end of the season than they will be at the start SO if they can actually go 4-2 in the first 6 games then they could win 10-11 games easily. Clowney is a rare talent but is not a huge "sack" guy and never really has been but he is a nightmare matchup because of his quickness. I have a strong feeling he will easily lead the team in Tackles for loss. Carson will see more carries i believe this year than he got last season and more receptions. This increased load will make Penny's numbers not reach the 700 yards but he might be around 500-600.

The Defense will be middle of the pack in the NFL because of the back end and next offseason the Hawks will fix it with some major talent influx at CB and S from draft and FA, They will also get a true sack guy. The offense will struggle in the passing game as only Lockett and Ursa show they are the only ones capable at getting open consistently. Wilson will have to force a lot of throws this season and his INT's will jump to 9, His TD will drop to 30.

The story of the season will be the growth at the end and the injuries through out that cripple the team.

Yep i just went out on a limb and put it all out there. These are My opinions so you can hate it or you can pat me on the back for not being afraid to put it out there lol.

BUT i will say this, i have a feeling the Rams might just suck balls this year and if that happens the Hawks make it to the playoffs ( 10-6 ). I do not know why i feel like this but i just have this strong feeling they are going to have WAY to many issues this season and it's going to crumble like a house of cards. So why did i got the way i did up top? because i went with my head not my gut feeling. lol

I need to revise my prediction of 12-4.

IF things go poorly, RW gets injured for example, or things just don't pan out then 6-10. Maybe worse, or maybe not. If we start out 0-8, then yeah probably 6 wins at best. Or maybe less. Or more. Or right at 6. If we start out 5-11, then 6 wins is probably the ceiling.

If the team is just sort of mediocre then I could see 7-9 or 8-8.

But we're probably at least 9-7. Unless we start out 12-0, then I could see 10-11+ wins, easy. Maybe even 12 or more.

I will only say that barring catastrophic injuries to key players, I think the Hawks are an 11-12 win team and either win the div if the Rams falter a little or are at least a WC. The rest are just stats for fantasy that I don't care about. Also 12 wins could potentially get them HFA in the NFC. They need to be their best and catch some breaks but it is there for the taking.
