Seahawks Fans Leave NFC Championship Game Early, Locked Out for Overtime

I am sitting in the Phoenix airport on my way home now and yes there was a bunch who left early. The 2 guys right next to me left I had to get out of the way being on the end seat to let them out.

I think the more epic thing though was the 12th man booooing the team as they walked off the field at half time

Ah I was at the game in Green Bay last week I have to fly into Minneapolis tonight yet then make the drive home but yes the weather was ok it did not really affect the game much and better than the real cold games

Oh I agree on the epic choke job, one of 5 plays would have won it and they couldnt get one of them to go. Next year will be in Green Bay and my guess is there will be an edge on the Packers shoulders all season. These 2 teams will be battling for quite a few years is my guess.

Yeah, I was thinking about that game in GB next year as soon as the game ended. You can bet your ass that'll be SNF. I watched Rodgers post game, and he said he'll carry this loss with him for the rest of his career.

Now that you mention it, I thought I heard them booing as time was running off the clock in the first half, but then I thought they would never do such a thing. Now I think what stood out the most was how much more quiet it seemed than usual. Buck even mentioned it a few times because it was so weird.

I heard no one boo, yet I probably wouldn't blame them. I boo bad calls but never the team.
I also took note while watching the award ceremony to the end, there was at least 90% still in attendance 20 minutes after the game. Probably closer to 95%.
I did see a very few leave when things looked their bleakest.

Thanks. With my oldest son we have attended 3 NFCCG's. All 3 were supreme events.
'05 season vs Carolina blowing them out to go to our 1st SB.
Last year against SF in "The Tip" game.
Now today.
All epic games.
