Regardless of position importance, who is the Seahawks best player?

Danny O'Neil and Mike Sando went with Earl Thomas.

John Clayton went with Richard Sherman who I have to agree with. I think what makes Sherman such a special player is not only that he is such a turnover machine but also his coverage skills are incredible.

I didn't see an option to make this a poll so I guess I'll just leave this as is... What does everyone think?

I think your mistaking this for most important player to the team which I agree with you would be RW.

Best at his position im gonna go with Sherm and ET/ Lynch in a close second.

No doubt QB is the most important position but we're talking best player on the team.

I mean do you think Stafford is better than Calvin Johnson? Stafford may be more important but Calvin Johnson is a waaaay better player.

So did this poll turn into a "favorite" player as opposed to best player? Looking at this objectively I see no way that you can make the case that Wilson is the best player on the Seahawks. (assuming all positions are equal) A case can be make for ET and Sherman as the best league wide at their position, Wilson isn't even in the top 5 at his. (neither is Kaep so I'm not putting him down bc I'm a Niners fan) Wilson could become the 2nd coming of Tom Brady with everyone wondering how they passed on him so many times, but as of yet he isn't at the top of his class league wide. ET and Sherman are.

Yeah some posters have missed the point here. Is Russell the best QB in the league, no of course not but where does he fall? Sherman? You could certainly make a case that he is the best..or second.
Thomas...is up there and Kam...well I'm a bit biased but I think he ranks high...Lynch, after AP no doubt but right there after that. The question is which Seahawk player ranks the highest at their position, not who is most important or most popular.

It was a poll I took that wasn't a poll at first.

Then why is Russell Wilson on the poll lol?

If you ask 100 people who the best player on the Lions is, they would probably all say Calvin Johnson. But guess what? The Lions went 0-16 with Calvin Johnson on the team. It wasn't until Ndamukong Suh was drafted, and he brought his attitude and swagger to the team did they make the playoffs. He came in and the whole team (even the offense) took on his attitude and they became relevant for the first time in over a decade. Unfortunately, Roger Goodell decided to snip Suh's balls and snatch their swagger and the rest is history. Only time will tell if the Lions can win under the watchful eye of Ginger fuck.

Point is, Russell Wilson is your Suh. He changed that whole team the minute he walked onto that field. Is he the highest rated QB on Madden? No.

The opening sentence is who is best at their position? In other words where does Sherman rank among CB? Where does Lynch rank against other RB? Ect. The title was misleading. I guess I should have laid out more ground work for this poll.
