Nice article. I'm rooting for Walter Thurmond. As a Duck alum I always enjoyed watching him play. Regardless, I like the Hawks depth in the secondary this year.

Had a heck of a time getting that vid to work. Love players that will lay a lick on the opponent. I know many feel Browner is replaceable, but plays like this give me pause with that line of thinking. I hope the Seahawks resign him.

Well not an article about the hawks so I hope you don't mind but here's an article from ESPN today that I found.

For those who want the quick run though its Lern Barney (currently suing the NFL) saying he doesn't believe football will be played in 10 to 20 years from now. And the best quote for me was "They're trying to make the game safer, but it's a gladiators' sport and there's only so much safety you can bring to it,"(by Vickerson)

Sadly I think he has a point but I disagree slightly, he argues that football will not be played however I think the rules and the style will change so dramatically that it's not going to be the same sport. It will still be called football (for marketing reasons) but future generations are going to watch NFL films and be speechless that the game was played so violently

I'll make some guesses. I think Micheal Robinson job could be up in the air. Not because he's not good , but because Spencer Ware could be special...and cheaper. Not sure if Jaye Howard makes the team.

Who is Kenneth Boatright? He's flown under my radar.

Hope Heath Farwell makes the team and Paul McQuistan makes the team IMO.

Here's an article about Wilson and details how becoming a star is going to put new pressure on him. It talks about how he was a surprise fun story and now as a super star he's going to need "SportsCenter" moments on every other possession". The one sentence I totally disagree with was "Winning alone might not be enough to satisfy his critics anymore". Just stop right there, I don't care if Wilson never throws a touchdown or throws 45 ints, as long as the team ended up wining the super bowl nothing us matters to me. To me it's all about winning (of course no cheating:rollseyes. Anyways enjoy.

You hit it on the head when you said you disagree that" winning might not be enough". That is what actually matters. If he wins the Superbowl but put up so so stats, believe everyone will declare him to be great Seahawks have a good team Wilson doesn't have to put up great numbers to win, but he can if needed. He already shown fans that when needed, he can put points on the board quickly. He did in the playoffs in both games.
This year he has a full camp as starter and the team as a whole looks better. I'd be shocked if Wilson was less then great.

Heard this on the radio while driving. I can not pretend to be unbias, but this is one of the reasons I'm so looking forward to next season. Wilson is going to be better and he's already good.

He's not going to put up a ton of yardage, or attempts, but when called upon Wilson will shine, just like he did in the last half of last season and the playoffs.

I'm getting so pumped for the season listening to this pod cast, because I know this guy( who ever he is) is dead wrong!
