I do like the hire. The Rams offense was very creative with Kupp/Woods/(cooks before traded). He may not have called plays but he I'm sure he had input on that passing game. Also the RBs were involved in the passing game and that's something we haven't seen in a while.

Yeah since like week 5 or 6, i liked how they were using the Backs early in the season and that passing game before it went to "bombs away"

We also didn't have any in-game/halftime adjustments so hopefully that will be a welcome change

Lets steal Kupp! i wanted the Hawks to draft him SO bad and had the Rams not taken him and he made it to the Hawks selection i think the Hawks would have snatched him up. I was begging for a trade down in 2017 though into the early 3rd for him.

Here is an interesting take... Maybe we won't need a lead back... Maybe the scheme is all we need... Akers, D Henderson and M. Brown were the backs in LA last year... Shanny with the 49ers seems to be able to insert whomever and they're still productive... Maybe this may be what the Seahawk's become... RBBC...

Now, this should actually hurt the Rams' salary cap even more than it already was. Goff's cap number was 34,950,000. Now, they have Stafford's 19,500,000 plus Goff's 22,200,000 dead money for a total hit of 41,700,000. But, they are getting rid of some 1st rounders that they couldn't afford to pay anyway, I guess.

I really think this is as much about cutting some of that $20-$30 million salary cap overage as anything, but it's an interesting move nonetheless. We'll see how it plays out - cause I'm just not seeing the Rams being that competitive if they have to cut half their team just to get under the cap (so those picks could be really valuable to Detroit).

I guess the first are 2022 and 2023, which will be 7 years of no first rounders for LA I believe

Yeah, he'll be an upgrade at QB, and they have some good WRs, but they're coming up on $40 million over the cap - so who knows what the rest of the team will look like.

Thank you... I know he doesn't have the wins but I still think he's underrated... He's had crappy teams around him - just like D. Watson... Doesn't matter which QB you are, you won't win without good talent/coaching around you... Personally, I think he'll take the Rams to the next level over the next year or two... No 1st rounders and cap hell will eventually catch up to them...
