If Schenn can appeal I'm sure he will so he can play vs NYR tonight. I haven't been able to find any news of what Philly plans to do yet.
The fact that he's a Flyer screwed him.
Expected..guy obviously left the ice before the hit. Pretty easy decision for Shanny.
Just a side note on these suspensions..and not that it really matters in this case cause Schenn is pretty meaningless but wouldnt it make more sense for him to be suspended for the next Flyers Devils game instead of tonight or whenever his suspension starts?
Doesnt make sense for another team to benefit from having the Flyers play someone not as talented as Schenn.
Suppose it was Giroux who got the suspension..I wish the NHL would change this.
???
what would the repercusions be,if for example he played tonight and took out Gaborik on the same type of hit?
Dont know. I think a fine would be enough. A-train hits the same way.

Could have been payback for this hit.
Anton Volchenkov Huge hit on Brayden Schenn. May 8th 2012 - YouTube
Devilish, all I am saying is Volchenkov threw some big hits on enough people as well. Live by the sword....
