Most "credible" leaks have us opening at home against Pittsburgh and on the road in week 2 in Dallas.

If true, the week 1 matchup would be the first time in franchise history that we play the Steelers in week 1. In some ways that is favorable given they will have a new QB, but then you might quickly remember Mike White and the Jets last season. I also think Tomlin is an underrated coach that will throw some surprises at us in week 1.

If the rumors are true, it will be interesting to see if the Bengals go full White tiger for that game and wear white helmets (which some have rumored would be coming this season). They normally wear white in week 1..... But that would give the Steelers their classic home unis in Cincy. That would be sort of weird. Okay, that's enough wardrobe talk - I'm feeling a little emasculated right now.

I think I can fill out the rest.... Week 3 will be @NYJ. The Reds are in town that weekend, so a home game won't happen. Week 9 will be the bye week as its coming off a MNF game. Week 10 will be at home against Carolina.

Agree. Though, this is the time of year that a team that was supposed to be good could be struggling due to injury. I'm thinking of a team like Baltimore last year.

It will be interesting to see how well we do in the first 10 games. If the team is playing to their potential, you could argue that they should come out of it at 8-2. That would set them up for that late season gauntlet.

The goal is the Superbowl, so you may as well become battle hardened before the playoffs hit. Just have to stay healthy. Last year was the healthiest I ever remember us being overall.

I don't get too worried about the schedule this early. So much happens between now and then that the strength is likely to change a lot.
