The Boston Bruins will soon announce that Marc Savard was officially cleared medically on Monday and will be ready for Game One of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

The Bruins will play either the Pittsburgh Penguins or Philadelphia Flyers, depending on the winner of the series between the Washington Capitals and Montreal Canadiens. If Boston ends up playing Pittsburgh, the series will begin on Friday, and if their opponent is Philadelphia, the series is expected to start on Saturday.

Makes the potential Boston-Pittsburgh series pretty interesting.
