Probably, but I'm just not sure you have to give up a 2nd to get that. That's all I'm saying.

Not that Seattle really knows much about that. They've had their fair share of giving up way too much for middle of the road WR talent that doesn't pan out Branch, Rice, TJ Housh, etc. I think this does end up okay for the Pats.

They did over pay, but it goes to show more about the market than NE just folding.

With SF in the market and maybe others such as KC, perhaps even BUF, NE wanted to get this deal done. I don't get the sense this will come back to haunt them at all.

Well if I'm a Falcon fan I'm pretty happy with this move considering how the season is going. Maybe not so happy about Quinn and the fact that Turd Cutter might end up your next HC (hopefully you guys avoid that), but happy with the 2nd rounder for your #3 WR.

I actually thought the Jets were going to give them a decent game from a DEF perspective....but NE knows they will face better competition down the road.
What a cupcake schedule for the Patriots.

and Sanu will help them win another SB. Yawn.

i find the regular season in the NFL to be intriguing because there are many different storylines.

the afc playoffs and SB are no longer intriguing to me because they are so predictable. The Patriots organization is just light years ahead of every other team in the league. it's fucking embarassing..... and boring.

Sanu is a decent slot receiver.

I like it. Receivers are rookies or newbies for the most part and Edelman can’t do it all. Sanu will take some pressure off of Julian, TBS.

I've always wanted Sanders on the Pats, but now that I think about Sanu --- he's younger than Sanders, he's a better blocker, a bigger target, he's not a free agent next year, not banged up, etc…

He's BB's kind of people. You know what he can do, no surprises.

Most Pats fans agree with you. I had expected a 10-point game with the Jets carrying on after that That surprising win against Cowboys. Preparation. Pats did prepare and the Jets did not.

I am very glad they got a wr for sure and he really should help them tremendously, still need an OL to protect Brady so he an get people the ball.. Yes they were solid last night but another OL would be nice or a decent TE

Sanu should take some pressure off Edelman and allow Brady to get the ball out even quicker. Hopefully the addition of Sanu open ups the running game... Michel on the goal line is scary, not sure why Bolden wasn't used. It worked last night but still would rather seeing Bolden in there...

Nothing to not like about Sanu for what he is. You're right, he probably plays a different role in NE.

Pats have 3 projected third rounders but two are comp picks that I don't believe are tradeable (heard that might be changing though).

I was unaware that the comp pick can't be moved.

Good to see the Pats finally have an answer to their backup QB situation.

Yep...QB put the Jets D in some bad spots, but they never really did much to stop NE. 1st drive wasn’t pristine, but they got 6 and never really looked back after that.

If you can’t adjust in game against NE you’re dead because they’re going to scout you well and defend your stock plays that they have seen on tape prety well also....especially a DIV team.
