Sanders disses Seattle WRs

One of the reasons people are down on the Seahawks receivers is the offense they run (which is also something brought up in QB debates). Golden Tate had similar opinions of him before going to Detroit, and now people think he's a solid WR. It just goes with the territory for this offense, but this kind of stuff has fueled Baldwin to big games in the past, so I'm not all that upset about it.

I don't think Seattle has a #1, they've got 2 borderline #2s (Baldwin/Kearse) a #3 or two (Richardson/Norwood) and then a couple special teams specialists playing WR (Lockette/Walters). Hell, even when Harvin was here, he's not exactly what you would call a #1.

Well, when the QB can't hit anything but dirt with his passes, you can't fault the receivers. If manning were healthy I think the broncos would be in the AFCC. That's more to do with the situation than the talent.

Manning didn't give his WR's a chance to make plays last week because he was so damn inaccurate.


Not fair to blame Denver WR's knowing that the main reason they struggled was Manning dealing with his injury

If they were two knucklehead fans I might agree. But Sanders and Woodsan not. Many of yiur Hawk fans agree. They are pedestrian. But that ia all that is asked of them. Currently that is all Seattle needs to win games. Once teams figure out how to contain RW to the pocket that will change. If teams can figure that out? Or if Beast mode leaves Seattle would need a more productive receiver corps.

Our pedestrian wide receivers made Denver look stupid! But agree, we don't have anyone who can regularly sky for the ball when closely covered. Richardson was showing promise and is now out for the season.

All that really matters is they are young and getting better. Maybe one day, Seattle can win with these guys.

Good luck Geezer. Hopefully two great games with no injuries. But I do want GB to win. I went to the Pats/GB game back in Nov in GB. Had a great time but want some revenge now.

GB got you at their house. I can totally understand the revenge on a neutral field. And if it came to that it would be a good game. I would however miss it as I would be found floating face down in the ship canal.
