I'm sure there has been at least one thread dedicated to this topic, but I would like to throw out a couple that may or may not have been included.
1. Johnny Vandermeer's 2 consecutive no-hitters.
2. Fernando Tatis hitting 2 grand slams in the same inning.

Team event but I will never stop enjoying talking about it:

2005 ALCS, Angels beat the White Sox game 1. The next 4 games in a row the Sox win, with their pitcher going a complete game all 4 times.

That will never happen again until the Earth crashes into the sun.

Also Dimaggio's 56 is mathematically impossible to beat.

I think most career cumulative pitching records are safe.

Especially Wins, Complete Games/Shutouts, Innings Pitched and Strikeouts. Scherzer, Greinke and Kershaw are all within 350 strikeouts of the 3K club. Outside of them it's hard to imagine anyone else joining that club in the foreseeable future. Lester's the next closest at 2,433 but he looks pretty cooked. Price and Sale are the only other active starters above 2K and both have had injury problems the last few years, not to mention Price has been used as a reliever/opener.

Can’t believe you didn’t mentioned Cy Young’s win total. Truly impossible to beat that one.

Must have been interesting.
That record will never be broken. A guy would have to hit 3 slams in an inning to do it.

Must have been interesting.

It was like the twilight zone. Everyone was looking around, stunned... Checking their scorecards, looking at the scoreboard, wondering why Chan Ho was still in... It was freaky...

I'm sure Chan Ho Park wondered the same thing. How many runs did he give up that inning? That must be another record.

Mathematically all of these records can be beaten, but the odds are probably Trillion times the national debt to one. Or maybe being mauled by a lion in Africa and mauled by a Polar Bear on the same day. Cy Young's are really at the top of the list. A player would have average over 25 wins a season for 20 seasons.
