Doob's take: This appears to be the biggest possible mismatch in the entire Eastern Conference, but the Pens are coming off a dismal performance where they were shutout by the Dallas Stars and the Sabres are coming off a 5-2 win over what was then the hottest team in the NHL (Columbus Blue Jackets). I expect the Pens to bounce back but this should be close. Doob picks the Pens to win 3-2.

Gibbons skated on the first line this morning, with Kobasew being an extra guy. I have no freaking idea why Kobasew has been given such a long tryout on that top line. Megna deserves it a whole lot more.

Yeah, Kobasew has been a non-factor since the 1st 2 games. Would much rather see Gibbons or Megna on the 1st line with Sidnitz.
