Apparently it all started when the Pens announced they were going to have free concession items for the 1st 4 games while the Sabres announced that all merchandise at the store is 50% off till the 1st game.

Is that why the Pens are doing the 50% off for the first four games? Hahahah. I mean, this is like having someone fight over you by one-upping. By all means guys, continue on. Bring on the freebies.

Ha ha, Good let them fight over our money.

BTW folks I made it through the surgery yesterday and the filter came out fine also good news....The Cat Scan shows that the PE has gotten "considerably smaller" so that's very good news !!!

Just sore as hell today and back off to bed soon. I guess having your neck sliced open and a lot of drugs tires you out and hurts. :laugh3:

That's what happens when you post without protection.

I thought that was blue?

It means you're special.

Hey, I never took the short bus to school.

BTW, When I was posting the other night and had to leave because my wifes uncle was taken into ICU, He passed away last night and she is running around like crazy. He had only two living relatives, my wife and his nephew Rick. Rick is a big shot lawyer in New York and has left any arrangement's to be made to my wife.

It's been hectic, My son and grandson are visiting, I'm recovering, my wife is all over the place I apologized to my son for the chaos but he told me not to worry about it. It's great to have good kids. He has been a big help.

To keep on topic, does anyone think 3 concessions per fan per game (what the Pens are giving for those four home games) is a fucking lot? I mean yeah a food item and a drink, I guess, but I couldn't even eat more than one thing.

A family of four goes to the game and they can get 12 concession items??? I guess the point is to make sure you enjoy your experience while paying for absolutely nothing besides your ticket (sans beer), but still. We were debating this at work yesterday, speculating about what you'd get if you got a beer and had three vouchers to spend on food. I can't eat three times during a 2.5 hour game.

With practice, you could, so start training now!

I could definitely put away a pretzel, nachos, and a drink, and I would probably be able to finish my neighbors' food, too. :hungry:

And, of course, this all assumes I ate before the game.

Hot dog, nachos/soft pretzel, and soda. Doneski. It is admittedly much harder if you go the booze route though.

What an empty gesture. I saw those legs, they needed at least a John Deere, maybe a chainsaw.

Did n't know about your surgery Boss. Happy as hell to hear it went well. Hoping for a speedy recovery for you. And I'm sorry for the loss of your wife's uncle.
