This guys is WAY ahead of the learning curve. He's making the Fish decent, and they don't exactly have great offensive talent.

A lot of teams are going to be mad they didn't trade up for him. If he lasted 'til around 13, I would've been screaming for the Niners to trade up and nab him.

Alright games against the Raiders and Rams isn't my definition of looking good.

It is mine! He's an EXTREMELY raw rook. I think he looks REALLY good at this point in his career. Especially considering the lack of talent on offense.

And the Raiders & Rams have pretty good defenses.

Huh? I think me and 1z were the only ones high on him last year.

Tannehill was one of the few QB prospects I liked. I didn't like him as much as Cutler (wanted the Niners to aquire him when he was available for a trade). I knew Tannehill was a big risk, and he still hasn't proven he'll be a success. But with the Niners' QB situation, I would've killed to get a prospect like him.

He was a Locker-like prospect for me. I'd take either one in a second, but neither one were man-crushes like Andrew Luck.

P.S. I loved Aldon more than anyone, but I started a thread saying I have a sinking feeling the Niners are going to rue the day they left Locker on the board.

I honestly thought this guy was one of the more risky picks in the draft. After watching Hard Knocks for a few episodes i had changed my mind on the guy. He's been progressing beyond my expectations. I guess when you have a wife that beautiful you have to raise the bar for yourself.

:)
So here are my early 2012 1st round bust pick candidates:

Melvin Ingram: Boom or bust. Very puzzling prospect.

Tannehill. Why? The Browns might draft him.

Jonathan Martin.

Andre Branch. Might not be a 1st rounder, but if he is Branch is my bust pick.

Michael Brockers. Don't really think he WILL be a bust, but I have to pick someone. Not nearly as big a fan of his as most people are / have been.

Nice, but that was ENTIRELY a shot at the Browns, not Tannehill.

In fact, I remember saying a team (I think the Bills or Cardinals) were dumb for not trading up for him.
