I actually ran into Ryan Kesler the other day. I don't get a chance to meet too many professional athletes, so even though I'd much rather hang with, say, Giroux, I was still pretty stoked. He chatted with me for a few minutes. This is what he said.
"I'm enjoying my time off this summer, but it's hard to relax when you are so used to the thrills of the NHL. I'm forced to go to some extreme lengths to replicate the experience. Do some crazy stuff."
Just kidding, of course. We only chatted about the weather. Been pretty windy here recently:
