Crying almost as hard as the OP was when he found out the Super Bowl matchup was Russell Wilson vs Tom Brady.

It's fine to be clutch. I guess my point is that he was lucky to keep getting more chances at coming back. It would be like a basketball player missing 3 straight 3s in the final 15 seconds but the center keeps getting a tough offensive rebound each time. Finally on the 4th 3, he makes it at the buzzer. Is that clutch? I guess if u wanna call it that, but there is a bigger picture.

Didn't say he had a great game, because he didn't. Worst game of his 3 year career. Tried to make plays he never is stupid enough to try and wasn't dialed in most of the day. You can both say he didn't have a great day, but he was clutch when it mattered and be right on both. You take your team down and score 3 TD's in a couple of minutes on that stage with that much on the line and you have to be called clutch.

And on the contrary, Clinton-dix or whatever his name is played an incredible game, but wasn't clutch when it counted. He missed a few basic plays that could have extended his season. Probably the same for a few of their players. No one was making plays the last 5 minutes of regulation and overtime.

So if someone sucks for all game, relies on his defense and ST to keep him in the game, and then finally completes a pass to his own team...he's clutch?

I know you're just purposely over simplifying and glossing over what really happened, but.... yeah, when you make all those plays that he did at the end of the game and win, yeah that's pretty much the definition of clutch.

Emotions finally get the best of Russell Wilson

“I’m usually pretty calm,” Wilson explained 90 minutes later, during his stint at the podium. “This is just an emotional time for me. I think about my dad right away. I wish he was here. But he’s watching – he’s got the best seat in the house.”

So basically while Russell Wilson was collapsing in a puddle of his own snot on the sidelines after the game, Vince Wilfork was saving lives.
Exactly, proving the point.

Well thats just it, these guys haven't competed at high levels or been on championship teams. We are not comparing this to work but competition and pride. Almsot every Olympian ( best of best in the world) cries when they are on the podium and their flag is raised.
sonny, some guys get it. Some guys don't.

Now you're dragging Tom Brady into this?

9 for 9 in 3rd quarter in pouring rain and only 7 tds in last 2 playoff games. Thank God Pats are still winning in spite of Brady. Wish we still had Scott Zolack

Plus we can hit the Trailer park and have some Cap and coke with Julian during the SB, if they have electricity and tv

You guys get Trailer Park boys in the US? I thought that was gem we Canucks had all to ourselves.

I have to agreet with Hammer on this to a certain extent (and not just because I pissed him off just a little in another thread) but I don't want to see Wilson doing this.

Maybe I am too old school but I was taught to play the game like a man and remain stoic win or lose.

Plus , I want people to keep piling hate on Kaep and not shift focus to Wilson. Kaep's regression and the 9ers struggles are like when Joeffery was killed on GOT and everyone was left wondering who to hate.

I see this year as a much more difficult year than last year.
RW was having the worst game of his career while having the most pressure he has ever felt. We have a shot at being known as a dynasty team. One loss and that feeling evaporates. The pressure to ensure that dynasty to grow would be enormous.
To turn it around while having everyone believe it can happen when times were their bleakest would be an all world lifetime event to some. It was an amazing feat.
Go Russell.
Go seahawks.

Hammer, I don't see anything wrong with toddlers crying. It's what they do.

I sneak over just to watch Good day hey and go to Moosehead plant in Montreal. I dont know if its ever been on reg tv here, but I have watched it on Netflix. My man Julian always has a rum and coke in his hand no matter what, he gets out of car or shower and drink in hand. But seriously Hammer lives there for free, he is a companion to the Trailer Park manager and his real name is Randy

lol. That's great. I re-nicknamed one of my buddies 'bubbles' because of that show and it stuck. He's not impressed, but it fit.

You had crayons Misko? thanks for rubbing it it. I was one of 6 and all we had to play with was a rusty slinky, that couldnt make it down stairs. I once saw a Stretch Armstrong through a dept store window. Man I asked Santa that for years, but I think he was afraid to come to my hood and get jacked. Reindeer meat mmmmm
