1. DeAngelo Williams
2. Steven Jackson
3. Knowshon Moreno
4. LeGarrette Blount

Of the players listed I'd rather have Blount. He's the perfect AFC North running back and would allow the Bengals to move the Law Firm to the 3rd down back where he would be move effective.

"He's the perfect AFC North back"

AND THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM RIGHT THERE.

Blount is basically BJGE without the past success. If I were to choose from that list, I'd probably take Williams first then Jackson. Then in a distant 3rd would be Blount.

But we aren't trading for anyone so why even talk about it?

I'm not sure I agree with "perfect AFCN RB". The Steelers and Ravens are both more pass oriented. Ray Rice isn't what I'd call a pound it RB. I'd rather have some speed and versatility. I'd also probably go with Williams.

While those guys would be an improvement, our o-line is the biggest issue. So, until we fix the o-line, I don't really care about addressing the problems at RB outside of FA.

The same reason we talk about a plethora of things that shouldn't apply to the Bengals.

As badly as we need a running back, we need a roadgrading lineman worse.......I thought Zeitler and Andre Smith on the same side would be a good start for a running game, but apparently I was wrong.....

One, you're an idiot! Two, anyone who compare Blount to the Law Firm is a idiot! Blount is a power back, who like your mom, likes to hit the hole hard while Green-Ellis is a plodding runner with no explosion. And third, "we aren't trading for anyone so why even talk about it?" That didn't stop you from creating the jem of a post "Hypothetical Trades". At least my post is grounded in reality and not in some retard's Madden day dream. I don't know if you're just a hypocrite or just dumb!

Both Zeitler and Smith are doing fine. The problem is the running-back. I've watched games where the Line has parted like the Red Sea but BJGE doesn't have the acceleration or speed to take advantage. We need an upgrade in the backfield.

The Firm is terrible. But at least he never fumbles. :pound:

If my mom were a guy that would make sense. I'm not sure what girls you've been messing with but you shouldn't be letting your gf hit your hole hard. :popsnoidea:

And as for Blount, he is a RB with little speed, no hands and is a backup for a reason. There is a reason the Buccs spend a 1st round pick on a RB when they already had Blount. He isn't good enough to be a starter. This isn't the 1980's anymore. In this division we need a RB who can catch. Rice, Richardson, Mendenhal. None of those are huge power backs with no speed. All can also catch the ball very well. Blount makes absolutely 0 sense for a west coast team. I wouldn't expect you to understand the actual game of football though.

With the exception of Ray Rice (5'8" 212) the other 2 runners you listed, Trent Richardson (5'9" 230) and Rashard Mendenhall (5'10" 225) are considered power backs and neither would be confused with Marshall Faulk so your argument makes no sense.

The Dayton mall is open.

We could have signed a running back or drafted one, we decided to take the route of signing an obscure RB that came from a winning team. He was a platoon RB there, not a feature back, we were supposed to be a platoon RB team, and then people started ooing and awing about how he never fumbles. stupid is as stupid does.

oh yea, we signed Boom Herron, that was about as pointless as letting a fart and putting a helmet on it.

Blount couldn't run 1 yard on 3 attempts at the goal line. Pass. I also think Williams has one of the highest UPC in the NFL over the past so-many years. Blount is sitting behind a rookie.
