I best clarify the above. Dumb me did not see that the Abreu trade rumor story is 3 months old. I'm willing to chalk this off as the dumb-fuck post of the month. At least the Brantley story is current.

Brantley is a fantastic left handed bat... but he has some long term injury every damn year.

I know he has a history of injuries, especially the '16 & '17 seasons. But he bounced back nicely this year. And let's face it, those same injury problems are what will make him an affordable signing. The bigger question is if we indeed signed him, where does he play? LF is his natural position, but I'm hoping as most diehard Sox fans are that LF will be taken by Eloy Jimenez. I guess Eloy can try for RF if that's the case, but I'd prefer he starts out in his natural position. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
