He’d barely been a roster pre-September before. And still had a lot of at bats left before losing his status.


But I get what you’re saying.


It’s not as drastic now, but baseball after the call up is a different animal. And Tampa played it well with Randy so he could still be on the postseason roster in 2020.

Why? I get he didn't play a whole season, but he was phenomenal when he did play. Plus I think it was a pretty weak rookie class anyway.
