Fracture in his 5th metacarpal (pinkie finger). They're claiming it'll take 3-6 weeks for him to get back to playing baseball. I wouldn't expect him back until late May or June.

They're also platooning Dyson and Orlando.

Interesting lineup today. Surprised to see Perez in it. Don't like seeing Dyson in it, but we don't have much of a choice with Gore's empty bat and Rios' hand.

Curious why you're surprised to see Perez in the lineup? He has hit Milone well in the past and he's been hot.

Curious why you're surprised to see Perez in the lineup? He has hit Milone well in the past and he's been hot.

A lot of talk about him getting more rest after what happened last year in the 2nd half playing over 160 games at catcher last year. Was on pace for a 116 wRC+ in the 1st half meriting a start in the ASG, but had a wRC+ of 61 in the 2nd half. A lot of people blame that on Yost for overworking Perez.
