For the women, feels like its Charlotte's to lose. Not really sure who else they've set up to win. Surprise returns it feels like Becky Lynch (not really a surprise but still), AJ Lee, Nikka Bella, and the IIconics are all possible.

For the men, I have no idea who could win. They've set up a few guys. Popular picks seem to be Punk and Cena. I'm not sure it'll be Punk since he's still owed a favor from Heyman, which I think will be used to get his Mania match. I'm gonna guess Cena or Roman.

Men's Rumble was awesome. Penta/Rey to kick off, cool moments throughout with Fatu, Bron spearing Ishowspeed, all the star power the end. Basically everything you want in a Royal Rumble match. Women's version was just ok. It didn't really pick up until the 20s when we got some surprises and big names. Ladder match was really entertaining despite the predictable Cody win

Report: Drew McIntyre Unhappy With WWE Royal Rumble Participant 'Trying To Get Himself Over'

Drew McIntyre was reportedly unhappy with something that happened at WWE Royal Rumble, so much so that he was said to have stormed out.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that something “went wrong” with Drew McIntyre’s elimination from the Royal Rumble match. He was said to have been screaming and cursing when he got to the back, and he was saying that “someone had to get their moves in” at the expense of multiple stories in the match. The former WWE Champion loudly stormed out, per Johnson, and he had left before the end of the match.


Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed the story and provided an update. He noted that McIntyre was not the only one unhappy with the situation. (H/t Ian Carey of F4WOnline.com)

“There’s a guy that a lot of people were pissed at in that match with the idea that he was trying to get himself over and not the match over,” Meltzer said.

Meltzer also said that the name of the individual in question would likely come out soon. However, it has not been fully confirmed yet.

“It’s multiple people telling me that the Drew thing was… he wasn’t happy. It’s not an angle,” Meltzer said. “I heard that Drew was not the only one unhappy about the situation.”

Lewis Browning of Mail Sport reported that Drew McIntyre was “left fuming” after one individual in the match tried to take the spotlight when Drew was set to get eliminated. It was said that McIntyre had to be calmed down by his family and members of the locker room. The report also notes that McIntyre is set to work with Damian Priest heading into WrestleMania. McIntyre was said to believe that he deserves a more prominent feud, given his success in 2024.

In the Daily Update on F4WOnline.com, Dave Meltzer reported that the story with Drew McIntyre was “legit”, but he believed that everyone cooled down. Meltzer wrote that McIntyre was not the only one who was mad, but others weren’t as obvious about it. The report noted that McIntyre and Damian Priest were going to start an angle, but they “felt the momentum was lost” when LA Knight got in the way as Priest was eliminating McIntyre. It was said that the top guys wanted things to go smoothly and have their story executed as planned.

Additionally, Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite cited sources who believed McIntyre was upset about LA Knight’s “errant movement” when he interrupted the planned elimination with Drew and Priest. It was noted that Knight’s name was brought up regarding McIntyre. Furthermore, Johnson wrote that WWE sources have been in contact with McIntyre, and sources played down the situation, as they felt that it could be tweaked and rectified.
