With one of those injured (Bodnarchuk). LoVerde, Dowd and Shore to Manchester plus Van der Gulik put on waivers with the intention of sending him to Manchester if he doesn't get picked up. Pretty doubtful I think.

But then it begs the question where does McNabb play? Do you keep him on as a 7d and rotate him with Greene & Regehr to give them the occasional night off?

As it stands, you're likely looking at a defensive unit that will look like:

Doughty-Muzzin
Voynov-Regehr
Martinez-Greene
McNabb

Is that best for McNabb's development at this time?

But if you send him down, he could be claimed by another team. Kings have some hard choices to make

Me thinks both will be kept as they both have to clear waivers to be sent to Manchester. They have too much invested in both to let them go for nothing. The only way I see one of them not on the opening day roster is if they are traded before Wednesday which I don't see happening. Most likely Cracknell(who's played pretty well on 4th line), Schultz and Weal get sent down, today perhaps. Cracknell and Schultz have to clear waiver but most likely one if not both will get claimed. Me personally, I might keep Cracknell if I can get a decent return for Nolan.
