He is an interesting player. He looks like he is a superstar one day and looks like he shouldn't have made it out of rookie ball another.

One thing about Eddie, is hes consistently inconsistent.

He's been the same player since he came up. No patience, No OBP, Terrible D, Dreadful baseball IQ(mostly base running). But hes got pop, he can handle lefties, hes usually pretty damn clutch with runners on base, has a killer arm.

Theres a lot of good and a lot of bad. Thats why with our minor league prospect depth there is no reason to give him any sort of big contact. But on his current deal, hes definitely an asset.

His time as a Twin is coming to a close though

With Kirilloff and Larnach nearly ready for "prime-time", I agree that Eddie's time is almost up.

Kirilloff and Larnach missed some very important "growth" time this season, but they are likely both in St. Paul playing daily against some pretty good pitchers.
