Darling added that he’s a big fan of “letting the kids play,” as Ken Griffey Jr. demanded in a playoff ad that debuted last week. He even said he loves bat flips, in a true “how do you do, fellow kids?” moment. He simply said, that “you have to judge for yourself, if you feel like rubbing it in starts to rub you the wrong way.”

Meh. Darling wasn't over the top with it. Guess he had a problem swinging on 3-0, but whatever. If the Yankees agree to not try to score any more runs I'm sure the Sox would agree not to steal or swing 3-0. Swinging 3-0 usually screws the batter anyway.

Swinging 3-0 ... doesn't bother me. Pitchers need to throw more strikes.
Stealing a base up by 10 runs doesn't bother me.
If the runner gets his hand hacked by a set of spikes because he thought he needed a stolen base, doesn't bother me.
