I'm a huge fan of the guy because he's one of the classiest people you'll ever meet but he didn't have a HOF career. He was very good though and the 1000/1000 yard season was insane.

Craig doesn't deserve to get in imo.
4.1ypc is pretty average, 49.6ypg is below average, he only ran for 1,000 yards 3 times (in 11 seasons), and 56 TD's isn't that impressive (just 5 per season). 1985 and 1988 were his only great seasons. The best thing he did was catch the ball out of the backfield, but even though he only averaged 29.8ypg. And just an additional 17 TD's.
He was a very good player, but not worthy of the HOF.

Montana and Rice were much more crucial to the 49ers dynasty than Craig.

Sadly the NFL HOF is turning into the NBA HOF. I like Warner, and T.D. was a great runner for a short time but lets get real, many more deserving candidates. As much as I can't stand the arrogant MLB HOF voting system at least they have some integrity. Emphasis on some.

No worse than Art Modell being shunned everytime .....The HOF is as big a joke as the Pro Bowl these days...
Sad to say, but it is true.....It's more of a popularity contest than anything else....If the media loves you, and your name is repetitively spoken of, then they will get in....No matter that real great players are passed by for the media stars....
I like Sapp but HOF, please !!....Harrison and Warner, excuse me while I clean up the coffee I just blew thru my nose....I count it as PR for the NFL and leave it at that....That way I don't yell out loud and throw anything at the tv.....
