Was wondering if they made an offer to him. He was the best available in free agency. Now wait for a trade.

Maybe they did and he just liked the Giants more? Guess we will probably never know

Absolutely a possibility. MLB mentioned how Giants are a good fit for rehabbing pitchers. Maybe that played into it also.
