Raiders overpaid but they had to. Regardless, I'm a little weary of players that leave Super Bowl contenders to non-contenders. I still don't get why the Raiders just didn't resign Stefen... all I can imagine is there must've been a real falling out with him, his agent, and the FO. I know he wasn't going to take a hometown discount but I have to imagine he would've been cheaper than Hudson while still producing close to the same level.
