Hager and his abundance of big league experience should fit right into our clubhouse culture of well seasoned vets.

I did read a quote from Shed Long about Seager on how Seager is the clubhouse leader just by using his dad experience around others. I probably butchered the saying, but he was very complementary about how Seager has dad swag and is just a really good guy and teammate. Nice to hear. Seager was Coll to my grandson about 5 years ago in AZ so I get it. He came up to my almost 2 year old grandson not as a player but as a dad. Much respect for that.

No its just a Mariners thing. This is just one more reason I say BS to these prospect ratings. If our system is so loaded, why do we have to keep claiming these garbage players instead of just pulling some up? A couple good prospects carry the whole system and the rest are just fill.

I got a look at what our batting order was just moments ago.

Quite frankly, I'm not used to this.

Only two are below the Mendoza line, but not by much!

To think that a month ago, we were okay with having a whole bunch of slackers who couldn't hit...at all!

Flexen was great, but damn, first game after the MLB crackdown on pitchers and the M's offense looked sickly against a guy with an ERA over 9. Not impressed with the offense tonight. Shed Long the hero again. Who'd have thought?
