Jan-Michael Vincent, Star of 'The Mechanic' and 'Airwolf,' Dies at 73
73? Holy shit.
I saw the news and thought “another Hollywood fallen star taken young due to drugs”. I had no idea he actually had years on his tires. His fall feels like it was just yesterday.
He was already 40 when Airwolf debuted????
Don’t do drugs kids. Ended up being a complete piece of shit loser.
Damnation Alley. Cheesy early flick.
I didn't think he was that old either.
I remember watching Jan Michael Vincent on TV back in the 70's when I was a teenager - thinking he was the COOLEST guy I'd ever seen on TV (back then). As the article mentioned, at one time, he was the highest paid actor in Hollywood. He's a great example of what illegal drugs and poor decision making skills can do to a person. Franklin I'm amazed that he lived to the age of 73. I thought he died a long time ago. I guess in a way he DID.
World's Greatest Athlete.
Disney doesn’t make those movies anymore. They were fun.
It's how I met Snake Plissken.... Not in the flesh but you know what I mean.
Is that really him?
Yeah. I forgot all about him. Read a little bit after his death. Drugs.... booze.... car wrecks.... he did not grow old gracefully.
I'm not gonna lie...I thought he was dead long before he really was.
I remember an interview he did with Howard Stern in the mid-90's and he didn't look good then. That's why I'm surprised he hadn't died sooner.
