This game has me LMAO!
Casteel and Rich are feeling it!
Casteel and Rich are feeling it!
He really hasn't done shit since he got forced to play White and Slaton. Don't forget, they weren't his choice especially White. Bendarrick was his man.
I have to disagree...he has had pretty good offenses every where he went...plus he was the only coach to tell PW he would have a shot at QB. Would not have been on team if not for that.
Casteel is the best at making half-time adjustments. Isn't that what I hear from some of our posters?
Has only had 3 losing seasons as a head coach...look I hate Rich Rod, but hard to argue he is a bad offensive coach
Wasn't this USTA in its 3rd year of existence? And, they had over 33 min. TOP, racked up 350 yds.
We'd have some WVU fans whining about the play of our defense with numbers like that. LOL!
But, WVU's defense is facing the nation's top offenses since Casteel left. Not a fair comparison... if you ask me.
W's are all that count. But, watching the game... Zona had some trouble with a team in its 3rd year of play.
Yes, the OFFENSE did, they got in the red zone several times and stalled and had to kick, which is one beef with the spread offenses, when you get in the red zone with less ground to work with, they stall out more than the ground it up the middle teams.
5.3 yds/play to William and Mary, 545 yards given up to Marshall, 511 yards given up to 'Cuse, 575 yards, 6.25 yds/play given up to IAST, those are NOT the top offenses in the country.
RR is an ok coach. He seems stuck in his system and has never seemed very adaptable. He needs the players to fit his system, and can't fit the system to the players. That's fine as long as you have what you need.
Mac have you watched him lately? The offense he runs now is a lot different than his time at WVU...he had definitely adapted to the times in my opinion.
