I have to disagree...he has had pretty good offenses every where he went...plus he was the only coach to tell PW he would have a shot at QB. Would not have been on team if not for that.

None like him, he was wanted by just about every other team when he decided to go with Dick Rod.

Arizona gave up 16 in the first half, 7 in the second, the game was won by late INTs. If you want to poor piss on Fraud and MaGee for why they scored four field goals, have at it, but Casteel did HIS job.

Fraud IS a football coach, he demands that his coaches and players give their all. I hate the guys guts and he is no role model for life, but he CAN coach football. Think of where WVU would be today had his ego not made him go to UM, talk about stability, his assistants stick to him like glue, his team is always in shape, and are ready to play MOST of the time. I looked at the Arizona football web page, it is AMAZING that every person on his staff followed him from here or from UM, right down to trainers, water boys, and grad assistants.

I'd take the W over the L ANY day!! AND the WVU numbers since Casteel left have been MUCH worse than that!!! AGAIN, if one wants to pick that game apart, the defense did THEIR job, the offense scored FOUR FGs, three of them from inside the 20, two of those from inside the 10.

Yes, the OFFENSE did, they got in the red zone several times and stalled and had to kick, which is one beef with the spread offenses, when you get in the red zone with less ground to work with, they stall out more than the ground it up the middle teams.

Might help your point if you didn't include SU and Marshall. In 2012, Marshall had the #6 Total Offense in the country at 534 yds/gm. SU was #17 at 476 yds/gm.

Zona is giving up an average of 5 yds/play going up against the likes of UNLV and UTSA this year. LOL

I was being half sarcastic. Half not. I do think he is a good coach, I also think he got a raw deal in Michigan, if he had one more year there he would have done good there. I also think some of it was deserved.

RR is an ok coach. He seems stuck in his system and has never seemed very adaptable. He needs the players to fit his system, and can't fit the system to the players. That's fine as long as you have what you need.

Mac have you watched him lately? The offense he runs now is a lot different than his time at WVU...he had definitely adapted to the times in my opinion.

I agree DC, the offense he is running now looks MUCH more like it did when he was OC at Tulane and Clemson than what he had going on here. MaGee and Fraud HAVE changed to suit their personnel.
