Last year Gronkowski was ranked in the fourth round due to injury history. This year he is late second at most. Cobb also is going in the third rounds like he did last year. It appears this year risk and reward go together.

Which will make it challenging for me. Cobb could be there in the third when I pick but last thing I want is a wasted pick due to injury which makes me wonder if I should take Garcon over him. In a recent mock i did, I went after Garcon and Cruz in back to back rounds, skipped over Cobb. I was picking 10th in 3rd however. Cobb is better than Garcon but he gets hurt too much.

Cobb's injury probability isn't worse than Garcon's or Cruz's.
If you watch the hit he took, you'd realize that it was the kind of shot that would have injured any WR, whether their name is Cobb or not.

Rodgers >>>>>>> RGIII/Eli

Give me Cobb over those 2 any day, even if I have to take Cobb in the 3rd (which I wouldn't personally, but given those specific choices, I'd definitely go Cobb)

You do recall Garçon has missed 8 games due to injury in his rather short career also right? And his are things that can naturally reoccur. Cobb's was a freak, contact induced injury. Cobb is a much better selection than Garcon.

What about VJac and Fitzgerald? I just can't take Andre Johnson.

Yeah, and that was 2012. I don't believe he got hurt with the colts. Cobb's been hurt back to back seasons.

You want to count missing one meaningless week16 game as being hurt back to back years? I give up

No, Its just he got hurt two times in 8 regular season games. I hope he is healthy, here is something else to take not of. He is the only receiver in the first three rounds that weighs less than 200. Julio from that same class weighs 220, Green weighs 207. He needs to put on more weight. Megatron weighs 236, more than the other receivers, and its good reason why he's the best in the league. He's been in the league a long time though.
