The most Lions thing is they probably go 9-7, 10-6 next season keeping that fat bastard and the D*ckbag GM around another few seasons.

9-7 wasn't good enough to keep Caldwell. Certainly shouldn't be enough to keep Fat Pat.

Yes there is a prize. MP and BQ got another year for being below average. Please don’t say Stafford went down either. They sucked and were already average at that point also.

Fat Pat lost the team after the Packers game when he went to the media afterwards shut his mouth and bent over to Goddell and the NFL instead of defending his his team by saying they got robbed by the WWE level officiating for big market teams like the Packers.

Yeah, but Caldwell was black. And they expected Martha to just talk to him like nothing was wrong with that.

The only part of that article with any substance is the O-Line. Yet, BQ is going to lose 1/3 of his best Offensive Line players to FA.

Offensive line
The Chiefs have Pro Bowl left tackle Eric Fisher and Pro Bowl right tackle Mitchell Schwartz.

The Lions don’t have a single offensive lineman who has earned all-star honors, although center Frank Ragnow seems destined to earn that honor in the near future.

According to Pro Football Focus’ offensive line rankings for 2019, the Lions finished 11th; the Chiefs were 16th. Ragnow had the sixth-highest grade for a center, and left tackle Taylor Decker and guard Graham Glasgow both earned top-10 grades.

The Chiefs, PFF said, were strong at pass blocking with the second-lowest pressure rate. But run blocking was deficient, with all five starters earning low marks.

How close are the Lions: Their O-line is already better than the Chiefs' unit.
