I understand being a texas fan your football season ends around December 27...but if you continue to watch football past a Longhorns bowl you would have seen oregon (Mariota) best florida state (Winston) 59-20. Check each QBs stats for that game.

Oh and Mariota career int TD ratio is 105-14. Winston had something like 21 INts this year vs terrible competition.
