After all these years of enduring the likes of Kevin Kolb, Drew Stanton, Ryan Lindley, etc...Fitzgerald deserves to finish his career with someone like Peyton Manning

I like how you left out Warner. The QB he played with in his prime years. Fitz will have played in the playoffs 3 out of his 11 seasons. In addition, he has won playoff games in 2 of those years ( this year remains to be seen). The list of great players who have been on less successful teams is HUGE!

A quick few that come to mind....

Tony Gonzales
Barry Sanders
Jared Allen
Adrian Peterson
Steve Largent

I disagree that missing 17 games over 4 years is not a major problem.

Compared to who? The only games he missed due to injury in that stretch, with the exception of one game, came this year.

Palmer will be back & 100% to start the 2015 season. Palmer was 6-0 while averaging 271 ypg with 11 TDs & 3 Ints. Fitz avg 6 rec 80.5 yards with 2 TDs in the 6 games Palmer started. QB is not the issue if you aren't forced to start your 2nd/3rd/4th string QBs due to injury.

I like Palmer but how do you know he'll be 100%?

Fitz should have moved on before the last contract was signed. Its a shame but he chose the cash. I doubt he`s crying in his beer. He signed with a second rate operation and that is the price. Barry Sanders and him can start a club.

1) NO!! Declining yes, still do not want to see that twice a year.

2) I want to see hometown kid Jeff Janis get a shot with these guys.

3) You being a GB fan should know Ted does not do much business this way. He fricking drafts and develops within and lets some big money walk. I should say 4) I hate Ted but will not...:gaah:

No worries... no way Ted signs LF. His only offseason work at WR is getting Cobb signed which will happen. I think you can write in Nelson, Cobb and Adams for WR next year.

Janis I would expect to develop with off season training and be in good shape to make team... his competition will be Boykin, Abby and Dorsey.

Go to NE and piss off the world.

Love Larry Fitzgerald but he is on the decline. Would rather see the Pats take a chance on Gordon ic he becomes eligible? A one or two year prove it type contract.

Why? Three trips to the playoffs with multiple playoff games and a SB appreaance isn't all that bad. Ask Dez Bryant or Jason Witten. He didn't choose the money either. Every team would have offered him that kind of money because he was arguably the best receiver in the game when he signed it.

Barry Sanders never even sniffed a SB. :L

A 9 million dollar cap hit hurts for someone not even on the team, but 23 million cap hit for a declining WR is unacceptable, heck I don't think it's acceptable even if he isn't declining. Cards will eat the $9 million.

This...$9 mil in dead money is way better than $23 mil in almost dead money.

I will add...it's not Fitz fault the QBs all went down and that forced his #s lower I''m sure, but there are no WRs in football worth $23 mil
