Report Bears have "massive" deal on table for Watson

I can't find any information what this "massive" deal is but geezus, if true, sounds like Pace is going for the homerun ball on his otherwise final year as a GM. I am scared to ask even ask what this massive deal involves.

I was just thinking like Wilson said he would take a trade to the Bears but if I was the Bears and I had a massive deal to trade for a franchise QB I would be looking to push for Watson who is like 6 years younger. I do think Watson is worth whatever price tag the Bears are willing to package together. A young all pro QB that is under contract is a great piece.

That's assuming your defense will still be intact after you get Watson. I wouldn't make that assumption until you see what Houston is receiving from the bears. And how many other defenders will have to be let go in order to pay Watson's salary?

Including Mack in this trade seems to contradict why this deal is even on the table. You trade everything for Watson for a chance at a SB next year. And losing Mack hurts your chances of winning next year.

Yeah i think the assumption this team is a QB away is a bad one. We would need a great draft (with whatever is left after the trade). Some here believe this D can carry this offense. I do not believe it.

Also Watson holds onto the ball a lot with this offensive line he's going to face a lot of sacks.

Very true. Look what happened in Houston. They signed Watson to that mammoth contract but how many good players have since departed or left prior to the signing in order for the signing to happen; Hopkins, Watt, Clowney...
