I think Seattle should be top 10 but 9 or 10 for sure. Their defense sucks complete ass, now they have some missing OL, Carson is bound to get injured at some point, and Wilson is starting to get turnover happy.

Maybe Jamal Adams can come back and change some things, but Ken Norton is the worst defensive coordinator in the NFL, Carroll can't rally his defense because they can't see him chewing gum anymore thanks to COVID and facemasks, and the defense is poised to give up quite possibly the worst season of all time.

Yeah they are definitely trending down, that's for sure.

They are 5-1 but you look at the teams they beat and while that previously contained what seemed to be an impressive win over the Patriots no longer looks that impressive as the Patriots have played out to be who they are this season.

Defense wins Championships. While Wilson is doing incredible this year, Seattle is giving up the most yards allowed per game in NFL history (480). You aren't winning games like that.

Seattle hung 34 with 3 interceptions (on the road) and quite possibly the chase down of all time from DK... and still couldn't win.

Ken Norton is by far the worst defensive coordinator in NFL history and needs to be fired immediately. "Who will they replace him with?" some Hawks fan will ask. A corpse? That should improve things in all honesty.

Yeah but at least they "tighten up" somewhat in the redzone. Seattle is giving up around 100 yards more a game than Cleveland but Cleveland gives up more points. Seattle is at 28.0/game, Cleveland is at 32/game. At least you have playmakers at certain positions. Wagner at MLB, Adams at safety. It's really just Ward on one side of the field and Garrett and that's it. They have bench warmers starting at some positions in the secondary and at LB. Seattle just needs pass rushers bad and they will be fine imo. Cleveland needs a lot of help.

Well Adams hasn't played the last 3 weeks.

Seattle needs a fuckin' defensive coordinator that can design some blitzes, make adjustments, and utilize the playmakers he has. Let me give you a breakdown of how Norton calls a game:

"Let's drop everyone in coverage 15 yards off the line of scrimmage. The QB on the opposing team is mobile, but just drop everyone 15 yards. We have no pass rush... but let's not blitz, let's not man spy the QB... Let's set an NFL record for the the most yards allowed per game in NFL history because that way I can set a record!"

I mean Jesus Shane, at this point I'd be willing to let you be defensive coordinator.

The Chiefs just came off a game where they went 0-8 on third down. I guess its good to be king.

Clayton, nobody likes you.
Hey, it was difficult to watch just how bad Drew Lock was playing. He had a really good Sam Bradford impression going last week and I don't think the Chiefs backups would've lost to that.

Clearly head to head results have no bearing on these rankings.

Also, how is Buffalo #7 after losing 2 straight, then failing to score a TD against the Jets and having to come back from behind by double digits.

Being down double digits to the Jets regardless of final outcome should disqualify you as a top 10 team and add to that you fail to score a TD.

They lost two straight bite those 2 games were against the #1 ranked team and 4th ranked team.

And head to head results do factor in but they aren't the end all be all. Not possible to do rankings purely off of head to head.
