Holy cow, the Colts don't miss him AT ALL

14 td/3 INT for Brissett and 65% comp rate.

Pretty impressive.

That 2 yr/30 mil deal he signed for is looking like a steal

jacoby can play. its why parcells talked bill into grabbing him 3 rounds early. hes very smart, can manage a game well, and can absorb an offense fast.

he has a line now. see what happened?

He is one of several solid QBs that got away from the Gators during the dark years.

BB knew it was too early for the heir apparent, but they were able to get picks from both of the QB draft picks. Brissett may even be better than Jimmy G....IND has some road games coming up (so far this yr road OFC has been relatively weak), but right now, I think you have to look at coach Reich as COTY.

He's good in this offense. He is not as good as Luck and if Luck would come back next year, Brissett would be traded.

He is very efficient. Doesn't make many mistakes.
Best of all is that I had to start him in fantasy (Brees on the bench) and he's doing pretty well for me.

I think it was a straight up trade. Brissett for Dorsett. Colts won that trade for sure.

Speaking of the Colts.
This is pretty funny how Stills gets stiff-armed after Leonard makes an INT.

Brissett is very underrated as a QB.

Also tied with Andy Dalton
That's interesting. I think that doesn't include this past week though.
Plus I think that number is never going to be real high the way they run the offense there. They love to run the ball in the middle of the field but then when they get inside the red zone they try to pass the ball in the end zone. There's not a lot of upside to those passes in terms of YPA.
It's hard to tell if that is because they don't believe he can throw the deep ball to Hilton or that is just the way Reich rolls.

I think it is Reich just playing it safe. Hilton missed a couple games, Funchess was lost in game 1. Campbell has been injured. Ebron drops as many as he catches.

While the pats & Chiefs are the talk of the town for Championship games (as they should)
I look at the Colts as the Darkhorse for the AFC.
Their OL can win the trenches on the offensive side. (which keeps from having 3 & outs)
Their front 7 are one of the most consistent & can win the trenches on the defensive side.
Winning the trenches all you usually need is to not do stupid stuff like turn the ball over.
To me that formula you are capable of beating any team in the league. Even if the team is overall better than you. Always start in the trenches.

While that is all true, if you have read his twitter, he's a bit wooooohooooo at times.

For a guy who was foisted into this role at the last minute before the season started he has done an amazing job.

Seriously, you would take injury prone, already retired once, out of football for 2 years Andrew Luck over Brissett?

Send me some of that stuff you are smoking, because it has to be some mind-numbing shit.
