I remember this vividly. i wanna say it was early 90's, spring training, in fort meyers (old sox ST site). Sox are playing the cardinals.
Cards go to take the field, and a fan jumps form the stands in full cardinals gear, same shades as ozzie, in his uniform, and stood at short stop as the team took the field. ozzie just stood next to the guy, who was unphased by ozzies presence, and just just laughed until security dragged him off the field.

I remember watching this, vividly, and remy laughing in hysterics. i cant find any reference to this online.

I remember a game where Manny Ramirez went up the wall to catch a deep drive into the alley, high fived a fan sitting in the front row, then came down with the catch.

Funny as hell and wish I could find a video of it.

him pissing in the monster, mid inning, is always a favorite. the scoreboard operators were stunned. "Can I use your bathroom?" was heard thru the wall, with a knock.

Lew Burdette scattering 13 hits and winning 1-0. Oh, yeah, Harvey Haddix was perfect through 12. I listened to the game.

I remember that one too. Except that was before cable and I lived in the Philadelphia market and for some reason that one was only on the radio. Great game though. Schmidt loved Wrigley. Obviously so did Kingman. Very one dimensional player but that one thing he did was fun to watch.

Also- Greg Luzinski's perm in this is legendary.

I attended my first live baseball game as a little kid, the Brooklyn Dodgers at Ebbets Field.

This was before color TV. The day was perfect. The sky was bright blue, and the grass was an impossible shade of green.

All my heroes, Duke Snider, Roy Campanella, Sandy Koufax, all right in front of us.

The first high fly ball seemed like it was going into orbit. Routine out, but for a little kid like me, a memory to last a lifetime.

Curveball he had that day was insane. Looked like he was throwing a wiffleball.
