Kennedy was first offered one-year, $625k two-way deal. Ended up being higher, obviously. Regier confident TK will get good deal..
Regier understands struggles. Says team is over projected budget. He will speak with ownership as it moved along. Ennis likely for spot.
With his $333k buy-out in tow, Kennedy could easily make his $1 mil total signing for $700k elsewhere...

I understand the Sabres already legitimate size issue. But it's not getting any better this season. Connolly and Stafford could and probably will be on the outs next season. Leaving in all likelihood Ennis and Roy as top line centers. Kennedy could have fit in on a scoring wing with posisbly a Roy and Vanek.
This team still obviously has faith in Drew Stafford, which is a huge disappointment. He gets NOW four years to prove himself..Kennedy gets one because he was a couple hundred thousand dollars over what they were willing to sign...
Also, Kennedy somewhat deserves this. I would have taken whatever they offered to stay in Buffalo and play for the team I'd take a puck in the face for. This is why agents are stupid.
