Refs screwin up the series

That was a very shitty example of thhe refs taking any physical aspect out of the Philly/Pitts series. WAYYYY to much petty shit called, and no way in hell Cooke or Simmonds shouldve been given misconducts... I guess any way to give the Pens & Golden Boy Crosby an advantage. Crosby musta made a call to daddy during the first intermission "Mr Bettmen, where gonna get swept and we have no answers for this team, and they keep beating us up. DO SOMETHING!!! PLEASE!!!"

Canucks and Penguins have to win at least one to keep the ratings and ad revenue for NBC coming in...

same happened with Sharks but they have already won their game, i hope they can win again but my guess is they will not...i will be at the game tomorrow, hope they come to play for a full 60 minutes.

This first round has been the most exciting in a long time, and from what ive read, the highest watched in a long time. But yet, all the analysts keep crying that its to rough, to violent, someones gonna die blah blah blah I cant believe I read (forgot who wrote it, some chicagoland fuck) who said something to extent "once hossa was carried off and was taken to the hospital we didnt know if he was conscience, in a coma, dead, or anything" So whats the NHL do?? Fuck the enjoyable hockey and tell the refs to go apeshit on bullshit calls... I mentioned it before, how fast it seems these players forget the great brutal playoff seriess of the late 90's, one of which Shanahan was a part of and his fair share of "dirty" shit. I watched the video again of Mccarty beating the ever loving shit outa Claude Lemieux, ripping his helmet off, dragging him to the boards and just going to town. Can you image what all these pusscakes in the media now a days would do if they saw THAT?? Theyd probably try & get criminal charges pressed against McCarty. And ya know what? Lemiuex was fine after that, did he cry or lay on the ice and play dead or act like he just like hit by a semi truck like Mike Smith?? No, he picked his beaten ass up and went to the DR to get fixed... None of the current series have been anywhere near as brutal as Col/Det ones, yet all these fucks act like this is the first time theyve seen rough playoff hocckey. And the shitty part is I believe Bettman wouldve let everything play out how it has been, which woulda been great, but he has to give into what the media fucks & analysts want and thus we seen the shitshow bullshit we saw tonight.

I honestly wish hockey would go back to being less covered, so all these "experts" wouldbt put their polital correct 2 cents in on TV... I almost threw up when I heard Mike Keenan refer the Shaw/Smith hit as the most disgusting act he's ever seen by a player. Come on Keenan give me a fucking break, did you forget bout the old Minn/Chi games?? Did you forget bout the giant brawl that broke out before the refs were on the ice and had no one there to stop it??

These dumbfucks need to stop trying to be so PC and voice their own real opinions instead of trying to just go with the crowd... Wheres Roenick when ya need him to stirr the pot...

I'm not sure Roenick's any different from the rest. He's been hedging towards the safe crowd quite a bit lately as well.

It's really disappointing to see just about every legal big hit being called a charging penalty. It seems the officials have no clue as to what the standards/expectations of the NHL are so they just call everything a penalty to be on the safe side.

Someone said that rats are running free now in the league now that enforcers are pretty much gone...no thanks to Bettman. So you see cheap shots and borderline ones with no accountability. It would be nice to see a Bob Probert type be able to pound the shit out of Raffi Torres without getting an instigator penalty or wtf they call it. Give me a break. I like the rough stuff, but not cheap shots. Cheap shots do need to be handled on the ice too. And a guy like Torres needs to pay the piper if he wants to continue to play by getting his head beaten in too by an enforcer. Alas there are none, just rats. So Bettman and Shany deal with it outside the ice. Bullshit!!!
