Dez had control. It barely hit the ground. then he lost control and caught it in the endzone again. It is what it is, but the rule needs to be reviewed.

That may very well been the case but this is the type of call or play that takes away from a game.

All season and really since instant replay was initiated the call on the field has to be clearly evident to overturn it. IMO they said Dez made a football move and held on long enough for a completion.

To overturn it it has to be definitive.

Then Green Bay still has to earn it. And if they go down and score to win it the call or lack of doesn't have any consequences.

Regardless it was a good game and I am looking forward to Packers Seahawks.

I liked where this thread started. A bunch of people trying to bait Cowboys fans to complain, but all Cowboys fans agreeing that the rule is bad, but the call was correct.


Process of the catch can blow me, it is terrible and it should feel bad for existing.

What's lost in all this is the 2 crucial sacks Romo took on the previous drive. He held the ball to long and didn't have the wherewithal to throw it away.

Great game and the Packers were the better team. Our defense just could not hold up in the second half. They out gained us by a significant amount even though we won the time of possession. We had our chances and our big players either fumbled, held on to the ball too long at times (or made an audible on 3rd and 1 that changed the game), our kicker was 1 of 3 in the playoffs, and we should have gone for it on 4th down.

All that being said. I still don't get the rule. The man took two steps, his forearm was on the ground and then he lunged the ball forward at which point it game out. Thought that was a football move or so I thought and since the call on the field was a catch, not sure how that judgement call gets overturned. That being said, not sure we stop Rogers with over 4 minutes left. However, it would have been an even better game.

Like I told Guns and Guitars, Romo will get to play in the pro bowl he was selected to over Russell Wilson.

They knew Wilson would be playing in the SB anyway, so why waste a selection on him?
