Defense is still bad, they play well against bad offenses (Houston, Jacksonville, Tennessee). Average or above average offenses take the Redskins defense to the woodshed. The special teams recovered a fumble today but overall still have been bad. The coaching staff or the front office seems to have the thinking that the QB position can mask all of the team's deficiencies, instead taking the approach of building the team first ensuring strength and stability at all positions then dropping a QB in place to take the team over the top. The Seahawks and 49ers used that approach and waited until their team was built and dropped in (Wilson, Kapernick). Both of those guys benefit from having above average to elite units to place with. People call those guys elite but they are not, they are solid QB's but if they were dropped on the (2012, 2013, 2014) Redskins they would have been lucky to struggle as our QB's have. Until the coach learns that our team is not capable of throwing the ball 40-50 times a game and be successful on a regular basis we will continue to lose with a few wins sprinkled in. As far as QB goes, I certainly hope everyone has had their fill of Kirk Cousins. He has proven what 31 other NFL teams already knew except the Redskins and their fans that he simply a backup nothing more. There is nothing wrong with him being a backup but there is something wrong with a coaching staff and front office that is not able to recognize that fact from the beginning. Colt McCoy is definite upgrade at the backup QB position but that is it. The team would be wise to put their resources behind providing protection for whoever their franchise QB is going to be. If it is RG3 then get some damn OL that are elite pass blockers and actually commit running the ball and say you will the run ball more. Improve your secondary that has been a mess for literally years. Will any of this happen...........doubt it, HAIL!!!!
